The full name of the ISO 27001:2022 standard is Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection – Information security management systems – Requirements. It was published on October 25, 2022, replacing the 2013 version. The standard provides a framework for improving an organizations information security. It also includes a set of classified security controls that organizations can use to demonstrate compliance with ISO 27001 6.1.3 (Information security risk treatment). The standards four domains are: Organizational controls: (5.1–5.37) People controls: (6.1–6.9) Physical controls: (7.1–5.13) Technological controls: (8.1–8.34)
