The BRCGS Storage and Distribution Standard is applicable to food and non-food products. It helps ensure supplier compliance, considering warehousing, transportation, and distribution. The BRCGS Storage and Distribution Standard covers all activities that can affect the safety, quality, and legality of food, packaging, and consumer products in storage and the process of distribution. It also covers activities provided by contracted storage and distribution services. The BRCGS Storage and Distribution Standard Issue 4 was released in 2020. It is a compilation of best practices that enables a continuous improvement process through well-designed, risk-based product safety management systems
