Anti-bribery management systems - Requirements with guidance for use

ISO 37001:2016 is an international standard for anti-bribery management systems. It was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2016. The standard helps organizations prevent, detect, and address bribery. It also helps organizations comply with anti-bribery laws and voluntary commitments. ISO 37001:2016 covers bribery in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. This includes bribery by and against an organization or its staff, and bribes paid or received through or by a third party. The standard requires companies to: Establish top-level leadership commitment to anti-bribery efforts Conduct bribery risk assessments Develop and implement policies and procedures Provide training and awareness Establish financial and commercial controls Conduct regular audits and investigations.
