ISO/IEC 27017:2015 is an information security code of practice for cloud services. It was first published in September 2015.The standard provides additional security controls for cloud service providers. It also provides guidelines for information security controls for the use and provision of cloud services. This includes: Additional implementation guidance for relevant controls specified in ISO/IEC 27002 Additional controls with implementation guidance that specifically relate to cloud services The standard is an extension to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27002. It is designed for organizations to use as a reference for selecting cloud services information security controls.
