The International Featured Standard (IFS) Food

International Featured Standards (IFS) Food is a globally recognized certification scheme for food product safety and quality. It's a benchmarked standard for manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, agents, and brokers. IFS Food provides a framework for managing food safety, authenticity, and quality throughout the entire food supply chain. It's a GFSI-recognized standard that provides transparency and comparability along the food supply chain. IFS Food certification has two levels: Foundation level: A score between 75 and 95% Higher level: A score greater than 95% A score below 75% means that no certificate can be granted. IFS standards are developed together with suppliers, retailers, and certification bodies.
