The NABH Pre Accreditation Entry Level certification standards were developed to improve patient care and safety. The standards include: Access, Assessment, and Continuity of Care (AAC) Care of Patient (COP) Management of Medication (MOM) Patient Right and Education (PRE) Hospital Infection Control (HIC) Before applying, hospitals must conduct a self-assessment against the NABH Pre Accreditation Entry Level standards for at least three months. They must also ensure that they comply with the standards. After obtaining the NABH Pre Accreditation Entry Level Certification, hospitals move to the Progressive Level. Finally, they can apply for full accreditation. NABH accreditation is considered the world's leading hospital accreditation.
